The late night degenerates gathered again last night for another running of The Impromptu on Lock Poker. And as usual, the game itself did not disappoint. The same could not be said for the broadcast, as technical difficulties prevented us from carrying on the show. But we should be back with a strong signal next week, so be sure and tune in to LP Radio next time.
Two full tables did battle for the coveted Impromptu Cup, and with the added incentive of a few bounties, courtesy of SuddenMoves. The first bounty was collected by Lucky_Lucy as she KO'd the host early on, sending me to the rail disappointed. HangingAround was the second bounty to be scored, as cainiac1 felted him.
We came to a final table with these nine fine players . . .
Shyne42 was the next bounty to be felted, as T bone9 took the last of his chips and sent him to the rail. The final, and double, bounty was on SuddenMoves himself, and he lost a race to cainiac1. Four handed play was an impressive battle, but it would Spacecase going out on the bubble, with T bone9 hanging on for a min-cash in 3rd place.
What I love to see most hosting this game is just how hard our players fight for the win. This heads up battle did not dissapoint, as Hard2fold and I love 2 Blu battled back and forth for the win, carefully playing each hand, and each having the upper hand several times. As it turned out, it would be a fortuitous board deciding this one, as hard2fold took the victory on this final hand . . .
