jhuggs showed us once again what a great player he is, and the regular 'late night degenerate' would play four handed against some new blood. But he managed to hang tough and out last them all, taking home his fourth Impromptu Cup of 2015!!

The 'Impromptu' turns Six Years Old!

Though it started as a whim, The Impromptu became a long running tradition, with a great group of players adoringly referred to as the 'late night degenerates.' As we come once again to the final game of the year, we mark our sixth anniversary on this our 311th running of this great game.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Mendo_Purp (aka jake_st) and burkey 32 were the top two spots on the chip count as we got to the final table, and they would emerge as the top two. Going into heads up play, burkey held the advantage and despite several double ups going to jake, it would be Burkey32 hoisting the cup for a record-tying sixteenth time!

A huge, 3-way all in during four handed play went TOURPRO1500's way, as he eliminated schmuff2000 in fourth, and left ThinkTwiceA with a crippled stack, when his AQ beat the AJ held by both women. ThinkTwiceA would finish third, and Shyne42 would be heads up, albeit with only a blind or two. TOURPRO would close it out for his fourth Impromptu Cup.

October 31st, HALLOWEEN!!!!
    A spooky game broke out on All Hallow's Eve, with a gathering of the late night degenerates once again brought us a great game with a lot of action. Unfortunately, we didn't get it on video, and most of us couldn't remember the night before, so instead we tip our hat to SmokeWeedman,

who picks up his fifth Impromptu Cup overall, and fourth this year! Congratulations!!!
