Recent Impromptu winners!!!!

The Impromptu continues to be a great game each and every week, and the special group of players we call the 'late night degenerates' are always a good time. Been a little late in recognizing our winners of late, but better late than never I often say  :)

March 9th 2014

This was another great edition of The Impromptu. We saw a great heads up battle between James and Kevin (james48906 and KevinB1). James would be the victor though, taking his first ever Impromptu Cup. We did get to chat a few moments with Kevin in an exit interview as well, thank you Kevin.

SuddenMoves looked to be on the verge of tying burkey for 3rd place on the all time win list, but he got into a back and forth heads up battle with dmjeff, and came out on the short end. dmjeff makes it two weeks in a row for first time winners with his first Impromptu title!!

ScrappyCuz, aka clan_votf187, is always tough, and this night was no exception, as he battled heads up with the always tough Spacecase. But on this night there was no denying him his first chance to hoist the Impromptu Cup, and for the third week in a row we have a first time winner of The Impromptu!!!.

This game was epic! Apparently not liking being considered odd-man-out when three handed by a certain broadcaster, burkey32 took it upon himself to wipeout the other two players, en route to his 9th Impromptu Title!!!  Way to go burkey!!

coolplaya13 would be stopped just short of victory for the second time. It won't be long before he becomes an Impromptu champion in his own right!

Zixipoo continues to make Impromptu history!

Another few  weeks has gone by without this slacker getting the results out. I assure it is not because of the performance of our record setting win leader stretching things out, but let's talk about that for just a moment.

Zixipoo became the first player to reach twelve victories in this great game on February 16th. He defeated coolplaya13, who had dominated most of the game, in a brilliant heads up performance. And just two weeks later, he would become the first player to reach thirteen victories, when he knocked off Tourpro1500. Obviously, I need to get it together and click off some wins of my own if I am to stay with him at the top. It's getting very interesting as the competition heats up.

Splitting Zixipoo's two recent wins was WillMingle, a new player we have welcomed into the 'late night degenerates. He would impress us all by joining an elite group of players who won The Impromptu in their debut. He would defeat stickybuds for the title.
