The heavy hitters with the big stacks to start the final table would each fall by the wayside, making way for kidjoker and Ansomemore to battle heads up for the Cup. After a long back and forth, Ansomemore would be victorious for her second Impromptu win!!
Burkey32 came in to the final table not only as the chip leader, but as the all time winningest player in Impromptu history, and he spat in the face of the wretched curse! TimmSweeny, who earlier I had said would miss the final table cut, not only survived to heads up play but actually wrestled the chip lead away from the Aussie. But burkey seldom loses once heads up, and this would be no different, as he battled back to take his now record-extending 18th Impromptu win!!
Max_Spaniard did his best to hold off the newcomers and claim a sixth Impromptu Cup, but they would not go easy. When it got to heads up action, bolenator was impressive and was able to take out the Colonel and win his first Impromptu!
Sticky came up a bit short of his threepeat dream, but a great battle at the top ended with a heads up match between Max_Spaniard and Ansomemore, with the latter taking The Cup and becoming the third from the land down under to win The Impromptu!
Oops, he did it again. Sticky became the ninth different player to win back2back Impromptu Cups, taking victory in a heads up battle with MENDO_PURP, who adds to his near record 2nd place finshes.
