eads up play began between MaGicfours and kidjoker130 with MaGicfours holding 64% of the chips, and she would extend that chip lead at one point to better than 5 to 1. But kidjoker130 was tenacious, and would claw his way back from the brink to take the victory!

Our broadcast had some difficulties on January 16th, and we didn't get final table coverage of our game. But we talked about it for a few minutes during our January 23rd broadcast, Here is that conversation . . .

curtinsea sat out the game, and burkey32 finished far back in the order. With only ComeBk777Kid with a chance to stop him, it would be Icktums hoisting the cup for a record-tying sixteenth time! Once again we have a three way tie at the top of the all time wins list.

richm7438 seemed to be on a path to destiny, but the 'chip leader curse' is hard to avoid, and though 'tooth' would give up the chip lead for a time, he would find himself heads up with j 'freakin' regis. Though it could have gone either way, jregis would not be denied his due, and would take his first Impromptu title!
